Special Mailing

Look what came in the mail for me yesterday! This is the special mailing for Circus Mirandus. Over the past week, I’ve seen a few people opening theirs on Twitter, and I’ve gotten more and more excited about it. And now I’ve got my very own magical package to admire! And it is definitely worthy of admiration. Someone–I suspect everyone actually–at Dial/Penguin is a genius. I’ve Been Anglicized!

I’ve been Anglicized! And though that might sound dangerous, it’s actually a very good thing. Having your first book published is filled with so many unexpected, cool moments, and this was definitely one of them. Last week, I received an e-mail from my lovely UK publisher, Chicken House, with a spreadsheet that included all the words that will be changed for the UK edition of Circus Mirandus.
